The MP8155 Blue LED / Dimmer box upgrade to the ME8800 Series provides a quick convenient light adjustment for the operator to inspect the fiber and surrounding ceramic. New Schott LED Lightsource for ME3200 and ME8800 Series Microscopes
We are pleased to announce the addition of some new LED Schott products to our product line . In addition to LED ringlights and light lines for machine vision, we have two new LED light sources that come in White or Blue LED. These can be used as direct replacements for the Fiber Optic lights we use on our ME3200 and ME8800 scopes. ME9100 Fiber Optic Bulkhead Inspection Scopes
The newly designed ME9100 microscope is the perfect tool for checking bulkhead connectors (including multi-fiber connectors such as MT's). Available in two different styles in either a high or low magnification, an operator can check the condition of a "behind the wall connector" without having to remove the panel. Features include and high resolution extra long working distance lens, near UV LED illumination, adjustable light intensity and image centering. Convert any Optispec® Field Scope into a video microscope
Convert any Optispec® ME5000, ME4000, ME1000, and FM1100 into a video microscope with an MP19225 USB 2.0 digital camera. Now it is possible to capture, save, store, and even e-mail images of fiber optic connectors on any USB 2.0 compatible computer or lap-top. The MP 19225 completely eliminates the risk of directly viewing an active laser-emitting fiber optic cable. The MP19225 Camera simply replaces the traditional eyepiece fitting all standard 23mm eyepiece tubes. It's 1.3 Mega Pixel color CMOS chip displays 640 x 480 size images at 30 frames per second. Originally developed for contact lens inspection the ME5900 series optical projector is the perfect tool for inspecting any translucent material. Providing 9 - 21x direct optical magnificaiton onto the large screen makes it easy for operators to quickly spot defective material. The illumination upgrade to the ME2500 series microscope will further increase the resolution of scratches, while giving a sharper image outlining the cladding of the fiber. Replacing the 5v tungsten lamp (MP2516), the LED will last the lifetime of the microscope without needing replacement.

New LED Illumination for the ME3200 Series
The illumination upgrade to the ME3200 series microscope will further increase the resolution of scratches, while giving a sharper image outlining the cladding of the fiber. Replacing the Fiber Bundle and Fiber Light Source, the LED will last the lifetime of the microscope without needing replacement. Control over illumination is made easy with a dimmer box mounted to the scope that allows the user to check the condition of the core and cladding with the flick of a single switch.
